Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are seeking highly driven and self initiative  “Chief Financial Officer (CFO)” for our client operating in the Express Cargo delivery sector, which is operating worldwide in the international market .

Summary:

?Based on the European side of Istanbul, reporting directly to the General Manager, the CFO will be responsible for managing all financial and accounting operations of the company, overseeing budgeting and financial control activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing financial strategies to support the sustainable growth of the company. Please note that It is an onsite vacancy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, report, and monitor the company’s financial and accounting operations,
• Ensure that accounting records are kept in compliance with legal regulations,
• Prepare budget analyses and present them to senior management,
• Conduct cost, income, and expense analyses,
• Manage the company’s collection and payment processes,
• Ensure preparation of detailed accounting reports for company projects,
• Supervise agency cost controls and reporting,
• Monitor annual independent audit report processes,
• Conduct financial risk management and ensure relevant controls,
• Carry out efficiency management studies,
• Perform financial studies regarding company investments,
• Manage tax processes,
• Lead and manage the employees under their responsibility,
• Carry out professional development activities and attend relevant training programs,
• Follow professional and technological innovations,
• Ensure training opportunities for employees and participate in training activities,
• Prepare reports for senior management regarding the outcomes of financial operations,
• Conduct research and literature reviews on business processes and systems,
• Fulfill responsibilities outlined in the ISO 27001 “Business Continuity Management Policy,”
• Be knowledgeable about and comply with the policies, procedures, and rules of the Information Security Management System
• Participate in studies and ensure documentation compliance required for ISO 9001 and ISO 10002 Quality Management Systems,
• Contribute to sustainability reporting and carbon footprint reporting activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree in a related field is preferred),
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience,
• Proficiency in accounting and budgeting software, as well as MS Office programs,
• Advanced level of English (German language knowledge is a plus),
• Valid class B driver’s license,
• Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and risk management,
• Strong knowledge of Turkish Commercial Code, Tax Legislation, and Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK),
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills,
• Competence in time management, problem solving, conflict management, and presentation techniques,
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and ISO 10002 quality and information security management systems,
• Awareness of environmental, quality, and occupational health and safety regulations,
• Strong analytical thinking, strategic perspective, and solution-oriented mindset,
• Open to innovation, with a strong focus on professional development and training processes.
